Hi, we are Pertubuhan Kebajikan Kanak Kanak Yatim Dan Cacat Perlindungan Selangor, Kota Damansara. The centre was established in August 2018, and currently there are 28 residents under our care. Staying true to the belief that the secret of happiness is helping others, we mainly take in those who are disadvantaged, for example those with Down Syndrome, ADHD, intellectual disability, dementia, autism, or other disorders such as depression, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, or cerebral stroke etc. Besides providing basic necessities, we also send our residents to hospital for follow-up. On top of that, we also invite external counsellors to provide counselling for our residents. Taking care of these 28 kids is indeed not an easy task, in fact it can be quite tough sometimes. However, when you see them healthy and joyous, you would feel satisfied. Such intention of ensuring their well-being motivates us to continue serving them. However, the recent pandemic stops many kind souls from visiting us, this resulted iin a great reduction of funds that could have supported our expenses, putting us into great financial distress. After all, we are a non-profit centre, therefore the monthly expenses is quite burdensome for us. Every month, the operation expenses of our centre is around RM20,000 taking into consideration operating expenses, such as rental, utility bills, food, medical expenses, and the salary of our five employees. We truly appreciate the assistance and visits by Panda Love Charity. We believe this report will enable the public to know us better, and hope that this will get us more financial help from the general public. On behalf of everyone in the centre, I would like take this opportunity to thank all our kind-hearted friends and the entrepreneurs for supporting us all this while.
