Hi, I am Sandralm, the secretary of VCFU. VCFU was established in 2006. Our main objective is to take care of those senior citizens who are in need. Currently, we have around 50 people staying in the centre. Most of them are helpless or their children are busy with work. We will provide 5 meals a day. Most of them are very independent, they can live on their own, whereas some are bed ridden. If they are seriously ill, we will send them to the hospital by ambulance. When there is a mild fever, stomach ache or headache, we will give them medication and have a bed rest. We decided to take care of the elderly people after our parents passed away. Since we are ageing, we try our best to reach our objective by taking care of them well and making them happy as before. We do not feel any difficulties taking care of them because we attended many courses on how to handle and care for old people. The expenses are all around RM10,000 per month. Food costs RM2000, the rental of premises RM3500, utility RM1000, and salary for 2 people RM3k.  We have needed sponsors for funding our centre. We hope to buy some kitchen cabinets, television, air-cond, beds and some other important things.
